massive snowstorm 2010

Snow photos are so boring, I know.

I apologize in advance for the snoozefest.

I want these for the future though…since this was a pretty big dumping of snow.

“Remember when that one storm put down so much snow it covered the cars?”

“Wait, doesn’t falling snow always cover the cars?”

“shut up”

photographic. evidence.

(there is a Durango under there somewhere)

(Underneath this blanket of lovely is the Cadillac. Honest.)

(The view out of the backdoor)

(and the view out of the front door)

See? I told you this was thrilling stuff.

Are you still awake?

Here, let me shake things up with something horizontal.

Whew. That’s a doozy, right?

I’m a little concerned about the snow on the top of the carport.

(It is not my car parked under there. It is the car my mother-in-law let us borrow. Eeek)

It is a wild wild world out there. I was attacked by the fearsome adorable snowweiner, Sadie, while scouting for photos.

(You were totally scared…I just know it)

Here is the Abominable Snow Dog

You should see him trying to figure out how to poop in this mess.

…and finally, fancy-pants, artsy-fartsy photo of snow on an iron fence.

You are welcome.

  1. That is a lot of snow. I live in Vancouver and we’re having the Winter Olympics here in a couple of weeks. We haven’t had a drop of snow on the ground since November. They’ve been flying snow in from higher mountains for the ski stuff. It should be interesting. 🙂

Thanks for dropping by my place. Love SITS!

  3. It’s good you took those photos because you will be marking the anniversary of the Blizzard of ’10 for many, many years to come. There will be newspaper articles, magazine articles, television specials until you want to scream. May you will be able to get one of your photos included!
