If I had a dollar for every time someone said, “Boy, I wish I had some of his energy” I would make about $4.00 a day. Corrigan is nearly always in a constant state of movement, even while asleep. I have no idea the magic tricks his teachers use in school, but at home he is moving non-stop. “Sitting still” is a foreign concept to Corrigan….
…except when Daddy plays Counter Strike on the Xbox. Even watching his favorite cartoons, he is up and down from the couch, often moving to stand directly in front of the television to sway back and forth, or dance to whatever music might be coming from the speakers. But break out the flashbangs and smoke grenades, and he will plant himself on the couch. I am convinced he has already memorized the maps. Once he gets some more language, I think I will be hearing “Daddy, need backup! Need backup!”
