Corrigan’s PreK school photos came home today and they are so cute. I don’t want to violate any copyright laws though, so you’re just going to have to trust me. ADORABLE.
His report card also made its way home today, as well as his IEP progress report. I have to tell ya, the kid is really doing well!
Take this little snippet from one of his goals…
7/31/12: (this was summer school) Corrigan was seen for ESY service. He will copy horizontal and vertical lines on the dry erase board when given hand-over-hand demonstration. He forms a circle Corrigan requires 1-3 sensory breaks (jumping, swinging, brushing) during treatment. Corrigan has difficulty touching a variety of textures.
…three months later
10/28/12: Corrigan has made good progress with making transitions to and from class. He completes fine motor activities for 2-4 minutes before showing signs of fatigue. He has explored a variety of different texture requiring only light touch to participate. Corrigan forms a circle, horizontal, and vertical lines when given a visual model.
You keep working on those goals, little man. You’re doing GREAT! Mommy and Daddy are so very proud of you!
And to his amazing teacher, aides and therapists….we are forever indebted to you for your dedication and determination to teach our boy!
