  1. SPRING

Old winter holds to the last. Yet even at its darkest hour there comes a magic moment when you know as clearly as if a bell had rung that winter’s harsh grip will soon be broken, and the land will open to the fulfilling glory of spring that lies ahead.

Spring is Nature coming awake and is to the spirit as music is to the ear and beauty to the eye and love to the heart. There is nothing to compare with being alive in spring. The land awaits the returning sunlight to wash the land in gentle green and soft quiet pastels of bloom and blossom.

All things are fresh and perfect and touched by the hand of God and carry promises of rebirth and renewal for all living things.

And we hold our breath a bit longer to rejoice that winter’s time has passed.
